About the role

You will design and build modern data platforms for clients: ingestion, transformation, modelling and serving — batch and streaming — with data contracts and observability from day one.

What you will do

Build batch and streaming pipelines with Spark, Kafka, dbt and Airflow
Model data for analytics (dimensional, data vault) on Databricks or Snowflake
Implement data quality checks, lineage and cataloguing
Optimise performance and cost of warehouse and lakehouse workloads
Partner with analysts and ML engineers on serving layers

What we are looking for

3–6 years in data engineering
Expert SQL and strong Python
Hands-on Spark and one of Databricks / Snowflake / Microsoft Fabric
Experience with orchestration (Airflow, ADF) and dbt
Understanding of data governance and privacy requirements

Nice to have

Kafka / event streaming
Power BI or Tableau
Databricks or Snowflake certification
