About the role

You will build and modernise Java services for enterprise clients — event-driven microservices, integration layers and APIs with strong non-functional requirements.

What you will do

Develop Spring Boot microservices with REST and event-driven interfaces
Integrate with Kafka, databases and enterprise systems
Containerise and deploy to Kubernetes with CI/CD
Write comprehensive tests and contribute to observability
Participate in design reviews and technical documentation

What we are looking for

3–6 years of Java development
Strong Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and SQL
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud deployment
Understanding of security (OAuth2/OIDC) and API standards
Good grasp of concurrency and performance tuning

Nice to have

Kafka Streams
Camunda / workflow engines
Banking domain knowledge
