Mechanical Design Engineer — Bearings

Design and validate thin-section and tapered roller bearings for textile, machine-tool and industrial customers.

About the role

You will join the Products division: designing bearing geometries, tolerances and materials, supporting production and quality, and working with customers on custom-to-drawing requirements.

What you will do

Design thin-section, sealed and tapered roller bearings to customer specifications
Create 2D/3D drawings and tolerance stacks; support DFM with production
Define inspection plans and work with QA on measurement
Investigate field issues and drive design improvements
Maintain the product catalogue and technical documentation

What we are looking for

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
2–5 years in bearing, precision components or machine design
Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD and GD&T
Understanding of heat treatment, grinding and metrology
Hands-on, shop-floor comfortable

Nice to have

Experience with rotary screen printing machinery
FEA basics
ISO 9001 documentation
